Uniting welcomes all children and families at each stage of development and education. Our not-for-profit services are located in local communities across Victoria and Tasmania.

We support children and families to create, learn and grow through high-quality education and care services.

At Uniting, we understand the important role we play in supporting the development of social skills, friendships and education. We offer a wide range of experiences to support your child’s learning in a safe and friendly environment.

Our qualified, experienced early learning team support children to develop social confidence, creativity and learning skills. Educational programs include challenging and fun learning opportunities for all children.

Our range of early learning services at Uniting have your child’s learning and family lifestyle needs covered, with care and education options to suit children of all ages.

Long day care

We provide high quality learning and care, five days a week, for children aged from six weeks through to five years old at our range of approved early learning centres.

Family day care

Education and care for children in an educator’s own home or approved venue. Services can operate up to seven days a week with hours that may be flexible depending on the educator’s availability.

Occasional care

Flexible care on an hourly basis, which can be used for short periods of time or at irregular intervals.

Kindergarten

Our kindergarten services offer play-based educational programs, designed and delivered by qualified early childhood teachers. Our kindergarten services promote learning, play and building social skills and confidence for a smooth transition to school.

Out of school hours care

Care for primary school age children outside school hours, during school vacations and on student free days.

Vacation care

Fun and educational service for primary school aged children during school holidays.

Kindergarten Inclusion Support

Enhancing the capacity of kindergartens to support children with disability, by providing tailored ongoing support aligned to the child’s strengths, abilities, interests and needs.

Preschool Field Officers

Supporting children with additional needs to access and participate in government-funded kindergartens in an inclusive environment. Providing resources, advice and consultative support to kindergarten staff.
